Our mission since we started FemTechConf is to empower, educate and champion women and TGNC in the tech field.
Women currently represent less than 25% of those employed in IT and less than 1 in 4 tech founders. Femme representation within tech leadership is even lower, showing a serious problem not only within hiring but also within promotion of Femme in tech.
Through bringing together inspiring speakers and supportive organisations, we want to train and support the growth of those who are underrepresented and underestimated in the space.
In September we were supported in the inaugural edition of FemTechConf by WPBuffs (based in Washington, DC). We are incredibly grateful for the support of our partner WPBuffs. In September we were supported in the inaugural edition of FemTechConf by the British company RVU (headquartered in London). We are incredibly grateful for the support of our Gold partner RVU. RVU is a group of online companies that work to empower consumers by helping them compare home services and financial products.
RVU’s commitment to diversity and inclusion goes far beyond their support of FemTechConf.
